What's the story with places that, in this day in age, still close on a Sunday? I'm seriously thinking changing my car, alas I'm feeling that Jeremy has had his day, to be honest, his NCT is up and I could be arsed going through the rigamaroll of all that shite. All I want to do is have a good strool around a few show rooms, but I can't, because its Sunday. I know that if I could go today, I would have a new car today, now i have to put it off for a week or so, because I'll be too busy during the week.
What is wrong with all of these companies? Is it that DON'T want to make money? Can they not see that the only day that a lot of people can do anything like this is on a Sunday. For a lot of retail businesses the only day where the real money is made is on the Sunday afternoon, when most people are free from the turmoil of work.
Also while I'm on the subject, what the fuck is the story with shops that still close for lunch? Ok I can understand the circumstances where there are staff shortages, especially with the near extortive minimum wage that has just come in. Ok, the minimum wage used to be necessary, but it's just getting ridicules now, it's going up in a disporpotionate rate to inflation every year (thus creating inflation!), how can the small man survive?
Oh, here's an idea, open the hours when you'll get the business!
Also I'm going to use this story to try to suss out where's a good place to buy a car in Waterford! (One that sorts out the finance for you)
